Cute goat pics
Milly is such a good mama, that she wouldn't leave her babies to go eat. Of course she's getting feed, and there is hay in the barnyard.
She wouldn't go into the pasture though, and we didn't really want day old babies in the pasture anyway.
If we picked up the babies, Milly couldn't see that we had all 3, and would cry. SO we boxed them up, left them on her level, and slid them out into the yard. The girls babysat while Milly ate nice green grass.
The next day, the kids (children) were able to babysit the goats in the pasture.
After a few days, Milly would go out into the pasture, and leave the babies in the barnyard--she can shut the gate.
Then, at about 6 days, she took the babies out into the pasture with her, and we no longer have to keep an eye on them.
Baby cow meets baby goat. Garnet is 12 days old, and spent his 1st full day away from mommy.
Garnet was fine, mommy was not too happy.
