Humbled and Thankful

We have just learned that someone made a four thousand dollar gift to our account, through our agency.
I do not yet know who the giver is (may never know), but God knows!  May he richly bless you for your willingness to help orphans!  Lives saved- no doubt!
We are often told by strangers in the grocery store, doctor's office, etc. how great it is--what we are doing, or "wow, you must love kids", but it is ALL GOD!  We could not make it through a day without Him carrying us.  And we certainly could never make it (mentally or financially) through the journey of 6 adoptions without Him!  We try to always tell people that we are just being obedient to God.
Jesus tells us ALL to do something for the orphan.  Not everyone can adopt, for various reasons, but everyone can do something, like this person who has so generously given towards our adoptions.  We have been equally blessed by many who have given "small" amounts.  Like the widow's mite, I am touched when families, who I knw are struggling, have given $10; thank you!
Also, I hope this can encourage someone who may be considering adoption, but "just can't afford it".  We can't either, but God can!

  3. Im so thrilled for you!! Instead of commenting on the other posts Im just going to comment on this post....Janet, you have a gift with organization. Not all people are gifted like you are...this would stress me to come up with this but I would love to use its final product. I pray the Lord allows you opportunities to share your gift with others for His glory!! Super Excited for you!!!!

  4. I LOVE how God works! We get the same thing as we journey into adoption again, yet it's we who feel so very blessed...each of our children is SUCH a blessing.
