Babbling about embroidery

Don't forget to check out our IPad giveaway !!!

While at Target the other day, we picked up some $1 items for care packages.  Little gifts are plentiful for girls; not so much for boys, so I was racking my brain.  The boys have this navy dinosaur shirt I made, along with some navy gingham pants.  (Sorry-though I had a pic).  So I decided I would make a shirt for AJ, and scored at Old Navy with a $2 T!  I'll include a pic of Wes and Waid wearing theirs, in the photo album that we will send, so hopefully, AJ will feel special that he has a shirt like his brothers.
While I was working, I discovered I had a white T left over from another project, that would fit Jenna, so she will be getting this ladybug shirt in her package.

I also discovered the 2 white long sleeve T's, that will be too small next year, so I knew I better use them.  The boys can wear these with the above mentioned gingham pants.  If you see them in the outfit, and notice that the zebras and the pants are actually dark navy instead of black; then you are too close to my kids--move away.
I saw a MOM shirt like this back in the day when Jon and Kate were actually worth watching, way back when she actually had Bible verses posted on her cabinets.  Did ya notice when they moved on up to the big house, there were no Bible verses, and shortly after, things went sour?!  OK-back to the shirt, I looked on the internet and found that they were over $30!!, and only came in the little, tight style, with those little tiny sleeves--yeh, I know, everybody is wearing them, but most should not be.  So last year when I found out I was going to be mom to 6, I got as far as buying 2 plain T's.  Yesterday, finally, one of the shirts was made!!!
