Planes, Emergency rooms, and home!

Brothers finally together!
Thanks Cindy D. for the matching shirts.
Twenty two hours of plane time, and 5airports could not possibly be fun; any way you slice it, but we made it.

We would have been home by 10:30 and in bed at a decent hour (for adults), but poor Avery tripped at the airport.  She had a gash on her chin, lots of blood, and it did not look good.  So we headed for Children's hospital.   Lots of drama (from Avery) and 3 stitches later, we headed home.  Poor Waid, over 30 hours of travelling, little sleep, and then all this drama.  Finally made it home, and everyone in bed by 2am.

Everyone listening to Jake play the piano.  He surprised me by taking a 1/2 day off on Friday, and coming home for the weekend.   He has already been a great help.  Waid has only had 1 meltdown all day, he is doing really well.  I thought he would have a fit when the other kids played with "his" toys, but he has happily shared and seems thrilled to have someone to play with!

I am thrilled to have my blow dryer that actually blows with force, ice cubes that won't make me sick, sweet tea, internet that will post more than 1 pic at a time, laundry that does not smell like river water.....and so much more to be thankful for!
