Birthday girl and apple dip
Emmi, our 1st China baby,
and the drama queen, turned 13 this week!
She made her own lavender cake, with lavender between the layers, and white with an m&m palm tree on the top.
She is a great help to us. Emmi can do any farm chore, except milk cows....only because we haven't taught her how to yet. She totes 5 gallon buckets of water, and rolls bales of hay into the barn for her goats like a pro. She works circles around the boys.
She can bark out orders like a drill sergeant,
which can be good and bad.
Emmi is in charge of making lunch everyday. She has other kids setting the table, pouring milk, etc., as she serves the plates.
She often checks Waid's school papers and helps him make corrections.
Emmi reads to Waid, and is his buddy on errands.
We are very blessed to have her!
And totally random to this birthday post,
here is our healthy apple dip recipe.
1/2 c peanut butter
1/2 c thick kefir (or yogurt)
1/4 c honey
Whip together, store in fridge.
