You are as much serving God in looking after your own children, and training them
up in God’s fear, and minding the house, and making your household a church for
God, as you would be if you had been called to lead an army to battle for the Lord of
hosts. Charles Spurgeon
Surgery and play
Avery has her 5th cleft-related surgery tomorrow. It's the nose/lip revision, with 1-2 night's stay. She is taking it pretty well so far. She'll also get her billionth set of ear tubes--
well, we lost count after 15.
On Friday, AJ has an appointment with a heart specialist. He had open heart surgery as a baby. The dr was a little concerned at the last apt, so we're expecting some testing.
Waid wanted to show you his excavator---he loves these things!
The girls enjoying a princess cup cake game that Jenna got for her birthday.
Last week, when I went to Target for Jenna's presents, I spotted this Electrolux Ergorapido stick vac.
I'd had my eye on it for over a year, but was not about to pay $150! Got this one for 1/2 price!!!!
The kids love it, and it is so much easier for them, than using a broom.
Happy times outside.
Give 'em a box, and they are happy for hours.
Trying to sled down the hill.
Sword and shield---use your imagination like he did=)
