You are as much serving God in looking after your own children, and training them
up in God’s fear, and minding the house, and making your household a church for
God, as you would be if you had been called to lead an army to battle for the Lord of
hosts. Charles Spurgeon
Still having issues posting pictures...as is the rest of the world...judging from the lack of posts across the web. I have wanted to do several catch up posts over the last few weeks, finally find the time to sit down; then have trouble---blech!
Anyway, here is Waid on Christmas day..he wore the bow all day=).
Wes--with one of his 1st Zoob creations.
After Jake had a loaner car for 2 weeks, he got his car back just hours before returning to school. Three weeks later--guess what? Car won't start again. This time it was towed to New Orleans, they didn't have a loaner for him, but agreed to let him rent one, he can't because he is only 19, Mercedes is working something out--I just can't keep up with it. Someone in the New Orleans dealership mentioned to him that his troubles may fall under the "lemon law"---we'll see. The primary reason for him buying a new car was DEPENDABILITY!
We are so greatful for God's provisions. A friend -sort of in the food industry--provided us with tons of "out of date" snacks. About 100 bags of chips, 50 granola bars, and bunches of other stuff. He has since brought us 100 packs of M&M's!! We are very thankful that he thought about us, and it was a huge help to our grocery budget=)
Waid seems to have made a school breakthrough. He is shown here doing "Handwriting without tears". He loves Curious George, that is Kayla...the elephant from "Follow that monkey", he even colored the ears pink.
Finally, here is a drawing Waid did of Ted, the man with the yellow hat=)
