We live in a zoo
Last Wed., I thought it would be a great opportunity to use our zoo passes, which did not get used for 2 months due to cold weather.
I figured we could make a B-line after PT, eat on the way, or at the picnic tables. I knew this would mean missing naptime, or at least making it late.
So we set out to see our friends at the petting farm, our favorites. These ducks are 2 weeks old.
We love this little horse, but always forget her name.
Emmi finally got to pet the rooster.
I figured messing up naptime was not the end of the world.
But they did not agree.
Of course we were all the way at the back of the zoo when Avery's meltdown started. We had to walk allllll the way out to the car, with her trailing behind as she had a fit. Oh, the stares.
Why is it that people look at the parents like they are awful, or should do something about the fit, and never consider that the child has delays or handicaps?
(Pictures reversed) By the time we got out to the van, Waid had joined in on the fun.
*NO* I will not be skipping naptime again anytime soon.
