Grateful!

We are very grateful, as God has been faithful, through many of you, who have contributed towards Waid's adoption.  Since last weeks post, and emails to several groups; over $900 has been donated.  Thank you to the ladies who responded from CBS,  our homeschool group, and the adoption community. A few donations were made by people we have never met--this especially touches my heart--that those people care about the orphans so deeply, that they contribute to adoptions of children they will never meet.  Thank you all!  We still have a ways to go, God will make a way.

Changing gears here--this needs to be said.
I would also like to share a saying from the olden days "if you can't say something nice (insert- encouraging), then don't say anything at all."  I am not posting negative comments.  These serve no purpose, and we do not need them.  "Maybe it's not God's will"...it may not be God's will for the sun to rise tomorrow, but until He tells me differently, I am going to trust that the sun WILL rise, likewise, I am trusting that God will bring our son home.  IF HE doesn't, then we'll talk about it, but I have faith that those conversations will not occur.

Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

And just so you know I am not mad at anyone who has been less than encouraging; I'll include verses 31 and 32=)

Eph 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Eph 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

We get similar hurtful comments like...don't you think you have enough kids (we only have 3) and the one I hate the most is whenever there is a delay in the process you hear...maybe God is trying to tell you something. I say maybe the devil is trying to destroy something and I pray all the more.

    Stay strong! Trust in God!

  3. I love your perspective on the negative comment "maybe it's not God's will" - if HE reveals that it's not, then it's appropriate to have the conversation - but now "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, mind & strength - Lean not on your own understanding". Our ways are not His ways - so who are we to second guess - when HE calls, we obey - and HE (never, ever us) will work out the details.

Praying that your faith will not waiver and that the Lord will show up in a mighty way for your family and for Waid -
