I'm thankful for a verrrry productive day. Better than we've had in a long time. We cleaned the whole house, including changing all the beds and even washing some blankets. The littles were engrossed with Lincoln Logs that used to be Kristen's; new to the littles. I cleaned out/organized Wes's adoption binder and grant info binder. Kristen made cookies. The big kids did all their school work. David and Jake started tearing Jake's car apart to replace the radiator, water pump and hoses. I got all the shrubbery in front and sides of the house trimmed while the littles played in the driveway. Emmi helped Kristen rake and pick up all the trimmings. And we grilled pork chops for dinner, to go with homemade sweet potato casserole. This may be a normal day for some of you, but for us it was HUGE!!! I cannot remember the last time we got so much done and everyone was happy all day!! I am so thankful for a wonderful day, and the beautiful weather!
And we are thankful to have done our fingerprints at immigration yesterday, one more thing to checked off the adoption process list. We were amazed to be in and out of the USCIS office in 10 minutes!!!! Last time it took about 2 hours. David said he is thankful for the alone time as we went to the fingerprint appt and left all 4 kids at home.
